Heather, Lead Dental Assistant/ Patient Coordinator

Lead dental assistant Heather

Heather has been working alongside Dr. Susman for nearly 15 years. After attending Rogers State University, she studied at the Tulsa Technology Center for Dental Assisting. She has an enormous amount of advanced training and certifications under her belt, including nitrous oxide sedation, CEREC, 3D Cone Beam X-rays, and many more. Today, what she loves most about her position is being able to put patients at ease within the dental office right away and help them open up about their lives. This bonding is such a fulfilling experience. If she can make someone feel better about themselves, it’s a successful day for sure!

Originally from Pryor, Heather spends her free time driving her Semi around, branding steers, and working on her family’s vegetable garden. They could absolutely fill a Trader Joe’s with all of their produce!

Marley, Digital Assisting Expert

Digital dental assisting expert Marley

Marley has been working with Dr. Susan for over 10 years now. She started at the dental office right out of school when he made a commitment to her that he’d train and educate her far beyond what the local trade schools had to offer. Today, she reads X-rays, designs/mills crowns with the help of CEREC, and completes all of the 3D scanning we need! More than anything else, she loves having the ability to make people smile in this line of work. It is so uplifting to share joy and laughter with patients while providing a valuable service.

Marley has been married to her spouse Sergio for a decade, and they have a wonderful son named Xavi. She is very lucky to have most of her family members also living here in Tulsa. Outside of work, soccer is her biggest hobby and has been a big part of her life for many years; in fact, it’s how she met her husband. They play on separate teams, which keeps their weekends busy while also giving them lots to talk about at the dinner table. Xavi likes to think that he’s her soccer coach, even – but she accepts his advice because she needs all of the help she can get!
